For those who did not know, it was Alia Bhatt's 24th birthday yesterday. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who starred with Alia in Dear Zindagi was on his way to her birthday party when he was met with an unfortunate incident: a photographer came under his car.

According to Yahoo! the moment Shah Rukh's car was seen arriving, the reporters and photographers present all jumped onto it, to get a snap of the actor.

Naturally, a big chaos ensued during which, Shah Rukh's car accidentally ran over a photographer's leg. The ever humble star thereby got out of his car and took the photographer and his bodyguard with him to Nanavati Hospital where he ensured that all the medical expenses were placed on him.

An eye-witness said that, “Shah Rukh was extremely polite and asked the photographer not to be scared as he will take care of the entire incident.” He further said that the photographer who got injured was a new guy and got excited upon seeing the actor. He wanted to capture Shah Rukh and did not realise that he will hurt himself as the car was moving in full speed. The witness further said that thankfully nothing major had happened and the situation was under control.

Xyz | 7 years ago | Reply @Ali Johar: Stupid comment considering there is the case if Salman Khan who got no imprisonment for murder even though he deserved it nor was there any pro Hindu court trial etc etc. In India most systems do not work with the lens of religion, least of all the judiciary, however hard it might be for u to believe. And why do u guys have to dissect everything with the religion focus?
Ali Johar | 7 years ago | Reply SRK rapid reaction to resolve this incident was to avoid pro hindu pro BJP Court trial for negligence and 5 year imprisonment... good strategy SRK...well done...keep trying....
