ISLAMABAD: Water – the most crucial resource – is getting scarce by the day making it imperative for the people and the governments to manage its availability, Ministry of Science and Technology (S&T) Secretary Fazal Abbas Maken said on Wednesday.

He said an effective coordination among all stakeholders was imperative to achieve water related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-2030. Speaking at a closing session of a two-day workshop titled Pakistan-Achievement of Water-related SDGs held in cooperation with UN University, Canada, and the Water Resources Section of planning and development ministry, he said water was the most critical natural resource of 21st century.
