Census: DCs told to ensure best arrangements

Punjab Chief Secretary says officials concerned taking part in the census should consider it a national duty

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Secretary Captain (r) Zahid Saeed has ordered deputy commissioners to ensure the best possible arrangements for the national census. He said officials concerned taking part in the census should consider it a national duty. He was presiding over a video link meeting of deputy commissioner at Civil Secretariat here on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting, the chief secretary said that first phase of the census in 16 districts of Punjab started on Wednesday.
