The revival of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is one of the top priorities of the government, said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
He added that in order to ensure the revival and development of the national carrier it is important that a robust mechanism for rooting out corruption should be developed at every level.
PIA to lease A330 from Turkish Airlines
He said this during his meeting with Advisor to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ali Khan at the Punjab House in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He also told the adviser that the current situation of the national airline is a matter of concern.
