ISLAMABAD: As part of security measures for Pakistan day, scheduled to be observed next week, Islamabad Police on Tuesday directed officials to crack down on those displaying weapons and flying kites in the capital. In a directive issued by SSP-Operations Sajid Kiani during a high-level meeting, officials were directed to enhance security and vigilance at and around the parade ground. Moreover, officials were directed to scan high-rises and Metro Bus stations. Officials were told to collect information about people who had taken up tenancy and to gather details about those staying at hotels and guesthouses in their respective areas.
