The level of security during the final in Lahore made everyone comfortable
WAH: With the return of the PSL final in Lahore, the gates of international cricket in Pakistan seem to be opening again. Some say the final was a publicity stunt and some say it was so the board could make money but really the reason behind it was the returning of international cricket to Pakistan and to fight terrorism.
A lot of the foreign players skipped the final over safety fears and many endorsed the return of international cricket after the big final, especially Darren Sammy, who was satisfied with the arrangements and was happy after seeing the passionate response of the people. The level of security during the final in Lahore made everyone comfortable.
Anything in life needs a first step and holding the PSL final in Lahore was the first one for Pakistan for the management to consider bringing more exciting matches like this back home for their fans.
