'Lake' in Hunza

KARACHI: This is with reference to your coverage of the artificial lake in Hunza and the dangers that it poses to local people because of the very high chance that its water might break through its banks.

The landslide that caused the lake to form occurred all the way back in January. Where were the print and electronic media at that time? Why are they giving coverage to it now, after so many weeks have gone by? Had they shown the same level of urgency perhaps something could have been done much earlier.

It does not care of People, country etc. They only want to win the race among different channels. Now, if they are showing interest in the lake, it is only that it is now an interesting issue for them and the sorce to attract people towards them. If thet have taken interest in this issue earlier then the situation could have been different. So, our media is only serving itself, not the country and country men. Media should overcome this defecency. And should prove like Indian Media that they are patriot to our country and country men. May God bless our country.
