NOWSHERA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has brought drastic changes in the human living standards, health sector and revolution in the field of education, while the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has the mentality of roads and infrastructure development.

PTI chief Imran Khan stated this while inaugurating the Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical College on Sunday.

He said humans’ living values were deteriorating day by day in the country, especially in Punjab.

PTI has the manifesto of investing in development of human living standards and the best model for it is providing 50 per cent insurances to the total population of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, while the 100 per cent mark will be obtained in the new fiscal year, Imran said.

“We have accomplished the promises made to the public in the 2013 elections, and provided a role model in the field of education, health, security and police reforms,” Khan said. “The world has appreciated our police reforms and our standards of security have been praised globally.”

Militancy touched the lowest ratio in the last one decade as due to the best performance of our police force, terror activities have been recorded at zero, Khan said and added we respect the sacrifices of our officers.

On the scuffle between the two MPs of PTI and PML-N, he said if Javed Latif was a member of the PTI he would have been kicked out of the party as well as from the National Assembly. “Nawaz Shraif should expel him from his party over the derogatory remarks,” Khan said.

Pakistan witnessed corrupt regimes in the last 70 years, but PTI is the first party to bring about changes in the system by holding the government and private entities accountable if they failed to deliver on their promises. PTI introduced National Testing Service system for government jobs and hired best minds for the respective fields.

While addressing the gathering Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said district Nowshera witnessed a huge development for the first time in the history of Pakistan during the tenure of PTI, and the inauguration of 200-bed hospital is among those projects brought to the district by PTI.

“The previous governments were the most corrupt governments in the history of Pakistan and PTI has brought changes in the allocation and utilisation of funds, and no MNA or MPA of this party could ever misuse their power,” Khattak added.

We have brought social changes by changing the minds and hearts of the people and bringing resources which no other party has brought so far to the district, which is why the young and new voters blindly follow their leader and their party, Khattak added.

On the occasion, son of late Jamaat-e-Islami leader Qazi Hussain ahmed, Asif Luqman Qazi said his father had dreamed of such a health facility in the district and PTI chairman had accomplished that dream.

On the occasion, party leaders of the provincial and central governments also attended the inauguration ceremony and PTI chief visited the faculties of the new college, which is affiliated with the Khyber Medical University, Peshawar. The chief minister also announced Rs2 billion additional funds for a hostel and a residential facility.
