LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced that his party will hold public meetings in Punjab.

After chairing a party meeting in Lahore on Saturday, Bilawal said the party would soon announce its schedule of public meetings and rallies in different cities of Punjab. He also directed party members to accelerate political activities across Punjab.

During the meeting, Bilawal also interviewed certain candidates for different party posts. After the meeting PPP Central Punjab President Qamar Zamar Kaira said that Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were not the ones who were exposed to terror threats, instead it was the PPP that was at risk.

He also urged the government to provide security to the PPP leaders. Kaira said that his party has reservations over military courts but it does not mean that the PPP was supporting or favouring terrorism.
