The reason style icons opt for this comfy material is because it can be easily dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion. From Bollywood to Hollywood, we have spotted A-listers stylishly pulling off velvet kaftans, dresses and twin sets. But, the two winning ladies of this trend were Kendall Jenner and Kriti Sanon. Both fashionistas looked dapper in similar yet different ensembles.

The Dilwale star looked like a million bucks at designer Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday bash. The starlet sported a Golden Velvet Short Dress from Free People and knee-length black boots by Steve Madden. She opted for an Aquamarine choker around her neck for a complete party look. Crimped long hair and dark smoky eyes added to the finishing touches.



Kendall Jenner

One of the most talked-about models in Hollywood, Kendall Jenner is always spot on with her sense of style. The brunette beauty, 21, showed off her sensational figure in a shimmering mini dress of gold velvet and racy leather boots, as she headed out for an evening in London.  Styled like an oversized jacket, the outfit remained sophisticated with its high neckline and long sleeves, but cinched in at her petite waist with a belt.
