Robbers steal $4.5 million worth of makeup

The suspects were said to have cut through the roof of a warehouse and steal the cosmetics

A heist in Los Angeles saw robbers steal $4.5 million worth of makeup.

The thieves who broke into the Anastasia Beverly Hills warehouse in Chatsworts in late January stole over a 100,000 'Modern Renaissance' eyeshadow palettes by the cosmetic guru. The palette is valued at $42 a piece in retail.

'Spiderman' burglar on trial over $100m Paris art haul

LAPD announced news of the burglary on Thursday. The suspects were said to have cut through the roof of the warehouse. According to the police, the heist was carried out sometime between January 28 and January 30.

Anastasia Beverly Hills is a high-end makeup brand by Anastasia Soare. She has the reputation for being the "definitive eyebrow expert" and serves a high number of celebrity clients such as Cindy Crawford and the Kardashians.

The brand has not commented on the matter yet.
