Lok Mela Folk festival to open in April
Folk artists from across the country will converge to the cultural fare to enthral the visitors during the festival
The popular cultural festival of federal capital Lok Mela will start in the first week of April at the Lok Virsa in Islamabad. Cultural pavilions of all four provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir will be established in the mela. Folk artists from across the country would converge to the cultural fare to enthral the visitors during the 10-day Lok Mela. The folk festival would also feature musical nights offering traditional music, live theatre, and artisans at work, traditional apparel, food, handicrafts and much more.
