Gigi Hadid could be America’s secret weapon.

Yeah, you read that right. According to acclaimed American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, Gigi's latest cover for Vogue Arabia - where she sports a bedazzled hijab - could be the key to mending America's relationship with the Middle East, reported NYDaily.

"I think that it may melt relations, increase the love between Middle East and America, Gigi's the conduit," Tommy said recently. The 21-year-old Gigi was the Arabian edition's inaugural model and it debuted both in Arabic and English for March.



"I think it's beautiful, it's incredible," the designer said of her look. Hadid frequents the Tommy Hilfiger runway and even recently launched her own Gigi x Tommy collection for the popular brand. "She's so great," Tommy added, of the star.
