PSL has a heart-warming message for its fans

Organisers thank fans for their support and love

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) organisers on Thursday sent out a heart-warming message to the fans for watching all the action and supporting the tournament from the UAE all the way to the landmark final at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The PSL had all Pakistanis hooked to it during the last month, from the glittering opening ceremony in Dubai all the way to Darren Sammy leading Peshawar Zalmi to the winner’s trophy in Lahore.

“Dear Fan[s]. We started off by saying that this was YOUR league and now we have to tell you all that you have been amazing,” read a picture message on  PSL’s social media accounts.

The statement rejoiced all the emotion shown by the fans. “We say you smiling, chanting slogans and dancing away. We saw the unbridled joy in your eyes and that gave us more power.”

The message further listed reasons for loving the fans. “You are the ones who created magic with your noise every time a six was hit or a wicket was taken. We love you for that too!”

It ended with a thank you note and a promise to bring more cricket entertainment for fans next year and so on. “Thank you! Keep supporting us kyun ke abhi toh aur khel jamay ga aur aap ki support se yeh stage sajta rahay ga (because we will keep bringing you more cricket and entertainment through PSL)! Pakistan Zindabad!
