A seminar was arranged on the eve of International Women’s Day at the auditorium of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College on Wednesday.
Veteran social welfare worker Begum Akhtar Habibullah Bhutta presided over the session while Sadia Haqqi and Prof Asma Shoukat were the guest of honour.

The seminar was addressed by Sadiq Noman Haqqi, Prof Dr Asma Tariq, Prof Samina Shahid, Prof Gul Jan Bukhari, Prof Misbah Yaqoob, Maria Fiyaz and Sadia Abbasi.
The speakers highlighted various issues which are vital for the empowerment of women and to accelerate the pace of socio-economic development of the country.
