Sonakshi Sinha starrer Noor, is an adaption of the novel Karachi You're Killing Me by Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz - and the trailer is finally out.

Sonakshi, earlier today, hinted at the release of the trailer on her Twitter account.

She posted: "Hi! I'm . Get a peek into my life coz the is out SOON! Eeeee so excited!

Followed by her previous tweet, Sonakshi revealed the trailer of the movie.

She posted: " Aaaand the is here. Proud & excited! @ is really close to my heart. Hope you guys like it."

Soon after the trailer was released, Saba took to Twitter to express her excitement and joy.

She posted: "@ is adapted from Karachi, You're Killing Me! - borrow/buy/read the book/ask me about Saad/ before the film releases!"

In the next tweet, she was thrilled beyond words!

And she literally loved everything about it!

"While the book – a coming-of-age story of a journalist named Ayesha Khan — is set in Karachi, Noor will be based in Mumbai and has the eponymous Noor Roy Chaudhary, a 20-something journalist, at its centre,” a close source to the movie, was quoted as saying, reports Mumbai Mirror.

“It’s a beautiful story that follows Noor as she navigates relationships, career, aspirations, life choices, infatuations and body image issues. Every girl will relate to her,” added the source.

However, Sonakshi denied that she will be playing Pakistani journalist. She previously said: “All I can say is that I am not playing a Pakistani journalist in the film. The film is based on a book, which is written by a Pakistani author. The story has been adapted into a Mumbai backdrop.”

Saba, herself confirmed that the movie is not exactly like the book but an adaptation of it.

A Twitter user asked the author:

To which Saba replied and clarified: "I didn't do the adaptation but its based off it, not an exact version. @"

Noor is slated to release on April 21.
