Participants of the meeting included Lt General Umar Farooq Durrani, Corps Commander Mangla, as well as representatives of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics and civil administration.
Review of necessary preparations to successfully conduct the census took place during the meeting.
Furthermore, attendees expressed their satisfaction at the preparations in place.
Durrani made the assurance to those present that the army would assist in any way possible, based on directives given by the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa to assist in expediting the process.

The long-awaited census is to be held in March of this year at any cost the chief statistician of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics Asif Bajwa.
Having a computerised CNIC is not a prerequisite for being counted in the census.
Interestingly, those who refuse to participate in the national headcount will be liable to pay a Rs50,000 fine and serve a six-month prison term.
