High alert: CPO orders police to ensure security at shrines
Police chief orders the SHOs of various police stations to increase patrolling in their respective areas

In a bid to provide foolproof security to people and shrines in the city, the police had been ordered to remain vigilant to counter any untoward incident.
In this regard, City Police Officer Muhammad Ahsen Younas chaired a security meeting in Multan Police Lines on Friday.
On the occasion, he ordered the station house officers of various police stations to increase patrolling in their respective areas.
Ahsen said security of schools, mosques and other sensitive regions in Multan must be ensured at all costs. He said action should be taken against cars with tinted windows, private cars with green colored number plates and young drivers.
