Banned outfit members arrested, explosives recovered

34 terrorists were also arrested and four were killed during operations

QUETTA: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two suspects linked with proscribed organisations and have also recovered a huge cache of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from their custody.

Radd-ul-fasaad: 54 suspects detained in operation

In a news conference, the Deputy Inspector General of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan Aitzaz Ahmed Goraya said that the CTD has recovered 1,933 different kinds of weapons in as many as 908 IBOs and 1,380 combing operations.

He said that hate literature was also recovered during these operations, adding that 1,419 people were also booked under the Foreigner Act. He said that 34 terrorists were also arrested and four were killed during operations.
