Miandad, Nawaz among legends not invited to PSL final

PCB has given a cold shoulder to several cricket greats

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hasn't invited some of country's finest former cricketers to the Pakistan Super League final, which will be held in Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on March 5.

The board, as per Express News, has ignored legends such as Javed Miandad and Sarfaraz Nawaz among others, some of whom have Gaddafi Stadium's enclosures named after them.

But former cricketers aren't the only ones being given the cold shoulder by the PCB. Some of the board's former chairmen have also gotten the same treatment.

So far, Quetta have secured qualification for the PSL final, but they have been hit hard due to the withdrawal of their foreign players.

Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will be vying for the other spot when they face each other in the qualifying final in Sharjah on Friday.

Sabir | 7 years ago | Reply The war between PCB and legend is gone that far? Come on guys Miandad and Sarfarz two great cricketer cannot be left out. They are the cricket in Pakistan. It would damaged reputation of the PCB instead of these two great player and others. Calm dawn and work it out.
