Sectarian attack: CTD arrests two alleged target killers

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Abbottabad police claimed that they had arrested two alleged target killers involved in the killing of an engineer, official sources informed on Tuesday.
The suspects were believed to be members of a banned outfit. CTD and the investigation branch have managed to obtain physical custody of the suspects for five days from an Anti-Terrorism Court.
Radd-ul-fasaad: 54 suspects detained in operation
CTD sources said that Yousuf Hussain, an Executive Engineer of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and a member of the Shia community from Parachinar area, had been deputed in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
On the evening of October 2, 2016, just as Hussain was returning home after parking his car, unidentified assailants opened fire at him. He was killed on the spot.

Hussain’s family had termed the assassination a target killing. The CTD’s investigation branch managed to track the suspects. Police raided their houses on Monday night and arrested the two alleged suspects.
The suspects were identified as Taimoor resident of Muhallah Malikpura and Raja Mustafa Sultan resident of Sheikhul Bandi. CTD sources said that the suspects had links with a banned outfit.
