ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court Monday reserved its verdict on an Intra-Court Appeal (ICA) where the petitioners had challenged the order of a single bench directing to produce a bullet proof car being used by the former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq reserved verdict after both sides concluded their arguments in the case.

Petitioners, Sheikh Ahsanuddin and Taufiq Asif, through their counsel Mohiuddin Aamir Mughal had filed the appeal challenging Justice Siddiqui’s December 2 decision.

Justice Siddiqui had ordered the petitioners to produce the vehicle as case property before the court by December 8.

They said that the decision would have a negative impact on the former CJP’s fundamental rights and security.
