SUKKUR:
The Rustam police have booked five Jatoi men for gang-raping four women in Shikarpur.

The group of armed men stormed into the house of MS, a peasant who works for landlord Manzar Ali Jatoi, near Mirza Wah police check post in Shikarpur district on Wednesday night.

They held the family at gunpoint and raped four women aged 60, 30, 27 and 25 years. The men escaped. The Rustam police registered a case against Gulsher, Dilsher, Wahid Ali, Mubarak and Hakeem on the complaint of one of the victims but they have yet to make any arrests.

The neighbours said that MS’s family lives in huts located next to the fields where they worked. A rival group wanted the family to leave and may have been involved in this case.

Meanwhile, others claimed that MS owed Gulsher some money and MS registered a fake case against him.
