Rahim Yar Khan district council presents a budget worth Rs400 million for six months

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Rahim Yar Khan district council presented a budget worth Rs400 million for six months on Monday. The budget was presented during a meeting which was held under the supervision of District Council Chairperson Sardar Azhar Khan Leghari. While presiding the meeting, Sardar Azhar Khan said the budget will be used to provide facilities to the citizens. He added funds will be spent in all tehsils without any discrimination.

He said since January 2017, the local government system had been implemented throughout the province and under the light of its laws, the district council budget had been formulated. He maintained that District Rahim Yar Khan consists of 139 Union Councils where people were deprived of basic facilities.
