RAWALPINDI: Four days after two brothers were killed in an alleged police encounter, PML-N MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed visited their family on Sunday. The ruling party MNA assured the victims’ family that he would raise his voice for them at every available forum and would support them in getting justice. As Ahmed reached the house of Irfan and Waseem – who were killed in the alleged encounter - a large number of people gathered there.  The residents criticised the MNA for not coming sooner on February 23 when they had staged a protest for nine hours, placing the bodies of Irfan and Waseem on Dhamial Road, blocking it. Nadeem Anwarul Haq, an elder brother of the two brothers, told The Express Tribune that though the MNA had assured them of his support, they did not trust political figures.
