Army mounts new nationwide offensive

Pakistan has been hit by a series of suicide bomb attacks in recent days, claiming more than 100 lives.

In response, Pakistan Army launched a countrywide crackdown, Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad. It also closed the Torkham border crossing, accusing Afghanistan of harbouring the militants who carried out the attacks.
