SAHIWAL: At least two people were killed, while nine others were injured in different road accidents in Sahiwal on Friday. In the first incident, a speedy car turned over near Khawaja Arif on Sahiwal-Arif Wala Road. As a result, Naveed was killed on the spot while his son, daughter-in-law and two minor children were critically injured.
In another mishap, a student Kifayatullah was killed and his friend was injured when their motorcycle slipped. Meanwhile, a 60-year-old woman Sardara, her husband, nephew Sarfaraz, 35 and niece Zarina, 32, were critically injured when a speedy rickshaw turned over. The injured were rushed to Sahiwal Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
