MALAKAND AGENCY: A top commander of Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat chapter was arrested during an operation by security forces and the counter terrorism department in Malakand division.
Three ‘facilitators’ of Charsadda courthouse attack arrested
A communiqué issued on Wednesday by the district police chief’s office said that the security forces had arrested Ihsanur Rehman and his aides after receiving information about their presence in Kishwar village.
According to the CTD record, Rehman and his aides were involved in an attack on security forces and police in 2015 in which four police officers were wounded, one of whom died later in hospital.
