Negligence: Six Pindi police officials dismissed from service
Dismissed included an inspector, two sub-inspectors, one assistant sub-inspector, and two constables

The Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer Wisal Raja on Monday dismissed six officials from service for negligence and dereliction of duty.
Those dismissed included an inspector, two sub-inspectors, one assistant sub-inspector, and two constables on different charges.
These officials were dismissed after they failed to adequately explain their behaviour in a hearing following inquiries against them. The police also registered a criminal case against the concerned officials.
Young woman allegedly raped at gunpoint in Islamabad
In a statement issued on Monday, Inspector Muhammad Aslam was dismissed for negligence and dereliction of duty which led to a murder suspect escaping from a police lock-up in Hassanabdal.
In another case, SI Sajjad Naqvi, constables Adnan Ahmed and Baqir Ali were dismissed for keeping a man in illegal detention in Hassanabdal.
