ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court is set to hear application of model Ayyan Ali for contempt of court against Secretary Interior Arif Ahmed Khan. Chief Justice Saqib Nisar will head a three-member bench comprising Justice Umer Ata Bandial and Justice Faisal Arab to hear the plea of the model who is on bail in a money laundering case. Ayyan has contended that although the Supreme Court has upheld her request to remove her name from the ECL, the interior ministry was not allowing her to go abroad. In the plea moved through her counsel Sardar Latif Khosa, she stated that whenever she goes to airport, the immigration staff insults her and stops her from traveling. She has asked the Supreme Court to direct the officials concerned to remove her name from ECL and allow her to go out of the country as per court orders.
