Movement of heavy vehicles banned from 6am to 11pm

The crackdown against the movement of such vehicles will begin from February 20

KARACHI: Stern action will be taken against the movement of heavy vehicles in the city during day light.

This was decided on Friday in a meeting held at the commissioner office between Karachi commissioner Ejaz Ahmed Khan, Sindh transport minister Nasir Husain Shah and traffic DIG Ejaz Shaikh. According to a press statement, there will be a ban on the movement of heavy vehicles in the city from 6am till 11pm.

The crackdown against the movement of such vehicles will begin from February 20. Meanwhile, another meeting is scheduled on Sunday, according to the spokesperson of the commissioner office, about intensifying the ban on the movement of heavy vehicles in the city during the mentioned time until the ongoing construction work in the city does not end.
