Terror resurfaces

Letter February 18, 2017
Terrorism is the gravest problem facing Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Terrorism is the gravest problem facing Pakistan. Although a global issue, Pakistan is hit hard by this menace. February 14 was an unlucky day that took away 13 innocent lives, including those of SSP Operations Zahid Gondal of the Punjab Police and DIG Traffic Lahore Capt (retd) Ahmad Mobin. A suicide bomb attack outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore spread a wave of silence and grief.

Either it is the government’s recklessness or foreign policy backing terrorism, but they have taken hordes of innocent lives in the last few decades. Therefore, we condemn these cowardly strikes by terrorist groups and will be fighting for this cause until peace prevails in Pakistan.
