From script to screen: How Shah Rukh breathed life into Raees

From Raees to Aasiyah, here's what made the characters tick

Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan starrer, Raees has been making headlines since its first look was unveiled. Now that the film has finally released, its cast has been treating us with few glimpses and songs that didn't make the final cut.

Previously, SRK, Mahira starrer romantic number, Halka Halka, was unveiled, along Sunny Leone's item number, Laila Main Laila's behind the scenes video.

Now, SRK has shed light into how he became Raees. A new video, released by Red Chilli Entertainment shows how SRK was transformed into Raees, physically and character wise.

The newly released video also features other pivotal characters such as leading lady, Mahira Khan, and supporting actors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Zeeshan Ayub.

The video demonstrates how SRK was asked to walk in a particular style, take his glasses off in a certain manner, the minuscule gestures and movements that made Shah Rukh Khan essay perfectly, the role of the infamous bootlegger.

Mahira, in the video also speaks up about how Shah Rukh helped her overcome her jitters and said, "He just broke it down with me, got me comfortable, kept doing the lines, improvised with me, saying 'Why don't you do it like this, why don't you do it like that?'. So, yeah, it was amazing."

Nawazuddin opened up about the connection he shared with SRK in the movie  and how his syncronisation with King Khan helped him do better in the flick.

The video also showed the light, goofy parts of the shooting, where characters had fun around the sets.
