At least five passengers were killed and two others injured as a passenger bus overturned on Karachi's National Highway on Tuesday, Express News reported.

The bus was travelling from Karachi to Badin when it overturned near Sassy Toll Plaza. SSP Malir Rao Anwar said the injured are in critical condition, according to Radio Pakistan.

Last week, at least four people, including three women and a child, were killed while a dozen others injured as a passenger-carrying vehicle overturned in Karachi. The incident apparently occurred due to over speeding near the Urdu Science University on the University Road, which is currently under construction, sources told The Express Tribune.
