Prompt Action: Police defuse bomb hidden in bag

The bomb was found by children playing in the street

QUETTA: With the help of children, police recovered a remote-control explosive device that was planted near the provincial prosecutor general’s house in Bilal Town on Sabzal Road. The bomb -- hidden in a bag-- was found by children playing in the street. The children alerted the police who rushed to the street and called the bomb disposal squad. Members of the squad later defused the bomb which weighed 20kgs. Police have arrested two suspects from the area and recovered arms, cameras and computers from their custody.
