36 arrested for flying kites

The police launched an operation against kite-flying in Faisalabad on Friday and succeeded in seizing more than 2,000 kites. Besides, 36 accused were arrested from different parts of the city.
A police official said those arrested were identified as Aqib, Faisal, Ali Raza, Zain, Nadeem, Shahid, Rizwan, Talha and others. The police also recovered more than 150 bundles of chemically-coated string from the possession of the accused. They had been shifted behind bars over violation of rules.
