FAISALABAD: Scores of students of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad staged a protest demonstration on Thursday against non-recognition of their degrees and lack of facilities in the hostels.  The protesters burnt tyres and blocked traffic for hours. As a result, massive traffic jam was witnessed on Jail Road and University Road. The students shouted slogans against the UAF administration and demanded immediate steps to address their grievances. Later, the varsity administration held negotiations with the protesters and assured them that their grievances would be resolved.
