Departmental Matters: 80 ASIs become sub-inspectors (

SUKKUR: Eighty assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) were promoted to the post of sub-inspectors during a meeting of the departmental promotion committee of Sukkur range, which was presided over by Sukkur DIG Feroze Shah at his office. The SSPs of Sukkur, Ghotki and Khairpur also participated in the meeting. Accordingly, 80 ASIs throughout the range were promoted to the post of sub-inspectors. Meanwhile, seven ASIs were asked to get their record completed, after which they, too, will be promoted as sub-inspectors. Besides this, seven junior clerks were promoted to the posts of senior clerks and the cases of 17 sons of martyred policemen were recommended to the Sindh IG for appointment.
