Four days of snow: Life limps back to normal in G-B
The record breaking snowfall has affected two bridges
ISLAMABAD:
With power supply disrupted and road links severed, routine life in many towns of Gilgit-Baltistan was limping back to normal after four days of snowfall. Although snowfall in upper parts of the country has stopped, people are still facing difficulties due to blocked roads and snapped power lines. Local people were stranded in their homes in Ghanche because of intense snowfall, and its road link with other cities was also cut off, a news channel reported. The record breaking snowfall has affected two bridges over Ravi River and damaged two houses in the region.
