Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) to take place February 22 to February 24
More than 30 Pakistani designers to showcase at upcoming extravaganza

Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) is returning to Karachi and will be held from February 22 to February 24. The Spring/Summer 2017 edition will feature more than 30 designers this time, including a bevy of emerging talent, stated a press release.
This designer dedicated an entire fashion show to anti-Trump protest
While this year will also mark Fashion Pakistan’s 10th anniversary, designers will showcase their prêt and luxury prêt collections on the three-day event. This season, FPW will also introduce a new concept of ‘Sustaining Local Craft’ and ‘Ethical Fashion’ through a line-up of solo shows by leading couturiers. The council will promote young talent through its Bank Alfalah Rising Talent platform showcasing the work of graduates from leading fashion colleges of Pakistan.
Some of the designers that will be participating in the show include Aamna Aqeel, Amir Adnan, Arsalan Iqbal, Ayesha Farooq Hashwani, Bunto Kazmi, Deepak Perwani, Fnk Asia, Gulabo, Hem, Innaya, Humayun Alamgir and Jeem. Designers Maheen Khan, Munib Nawaz, Nauman Arfeen, Nida Azwer, Nilofer Shahid, Nomi Ansari, Pink Tree, Sana Safinaz, Sonya Batla, Shamaeel Ansari, Shehla Chatoor, Tena Durrani, Umer Sayeed and YBQ will also be displaying their collections. Retail brand Lala Textiles will be showcasing at the event among many others.

The show direction and choreography will be handled by Frieha Altaf and Hair & Make-up will be done by Nabilas and N-PRO, digital communication by Mindmap Communication, event architecture and design by CKO and backstage management by Production 021.
Fashion Pakistan pioneered the concept of fashion weeks in the country with the very first FPW held in 2010. Established in 2007, the local fashion fraternity's representative body has been created by the designers, for the designers.
