Helping AJK: British Council to train 6,000 teachers   

The council will also help the AJK government in its efforts for the betterment of education sector

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has said that the British Council will train 6,000 teachers of AJK. The council will also help the AJK government in its efforts for the betterment of education sector. These agreements were reached at a conference on Kashmir Issue and World Education Forum organised by British Council in United Kingdom (UK) recently, Haider said while addressing a press conference on Friday. He said the second phase of this agreement involved getting students educated through these specialised teachers, which was under consideration.
