Six children killed in Layyah van-trailer collision

According to initial reports, tragic accident occurred due to heavy fog

MULTAN: At least six children were killed and 12 others injured on Friday when a school van collided with a trailer on Multan Mianwali Road in Layyah, Punjab.

According to Radio Pakistan, the tragic accident occurred due to dense fog. The driver of the school van was among the dead.

The injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Fatehpur.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed grief over the incident, offering condolences to the families of the victims. He directed the administration to ensure the injured were provided best medical care.

Fatal mishap: Bus crash leaves 11 dead

Earlier last week, a bus rammed into trucked on Islamabad-Lahore Motorway near Bahtti Gujjar village, leaving two dead and 11 wounded.
