In 16 cities: 42,000 students get career advice

Students said these sessions helped them clear ambiguities present in their minds regarding professional education

LAHORE: A new programme called STEP launched by the Punjab Group of Colleges conducted seminars, trainings and lectures in 16 cities of the province. Around 42,000 students benefitted from these sessions conducted by experts of the STEP’s Students Advisory and Counselling Department. The sessions were aimed at providing career advisory services and mentorship to students and help them understand changing academic trends and career options once they clear their intermediate examinations. The cities in which these sessions were conducted include Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Phalis, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Joharabad, Khanewal, Bhalwal, Okara, Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan. Students said these sessions helped them clear ambiguities present in their minds regarding professional education and to make the right choices and career options that lead them successfully to their desired goals.
