Weather update: Karachi to get light drizzle this weekend

KARACHI: Light drizzle is expected this weekend in the city and other districts of Sindh, apart from Thar and Mirpurkhas, said regional meteorological office director Shahid Abbas. “Light and scattered rain is expected to hit certain places in the province from Friday night until Saturday evening,” he said. “However, it will not strike the south-eastern parts of Sindh, which includes Thar and Mirpurkhas.” Abbas explained that the weather system developed from the west and will have a bigger impact on the northern parts of the country. “The system’s tail end lies in Sindh so scattered rain will take places in various parts of the province,” he said.
