Punjab University: ‘Administrative changes in best interest’

Administration has adopted the policy of transparency and a biased attitude will not be adopted in any case

LAHORE: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir has said changes in various administrative posts have been made in the best interest of the varsity.

The VC expressed these views while chairing a meeting of deans at the committee room of his office on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting, Dr Zafar said he wants to ensure neutrality of the administration and merit in every department of the Punjab University.

“The university administration has adopted the policy of transparency and a biased attitude will not be adopted in any case,” Dr Zafar remarked. The meeting was also informed about the vice chancellor’s initiative of launching a learning management system model to replacing the existing obsolete campus management system.

The meeting discussed the improvement of the work environment, condition of the university’s health centre and establishment of a one-window cell at the examination centre.
