Four killed in separate incidents in Quetta

A clash between two groups led to exchange of firing resulting in the death of three people

QUETTA: At least four people, including a policeman, were killed in two separate firing incidents in the provincial capital on Monday.

A police official was gunned down in the Hazara Town of Quetta. Relatives of the police official alleged that his wife had killed him. The wife on the other hand claimed the police officer had committed suicide.

Police registered the incident and have started investigating the matter.

Separately, three people were killed in a firing incident after a clash broke out between two opposing groups in Duki.

According to details, a clash between two groups led to exchange of firing resulting in the death of three people.

The deceased men were identified as Painid Khan, Suleman and Zarak. Tension prevailed in the area and local administration has called for extra contingents to bring the situation under control.
