Motorcyclist Nabbed: Policeman shot, injured    

Officer signaled a motorcyclist to stop, in retliation the motorcyclist opened fire on him

ISLAMABAD: A police official is in critical condition in hospital after being shot by a motorcyclist.   Constable Abdul Hameed was on duty in Sector I-8 when he signaled for a motorcyclist to stop. The motorcyclist opened fire on him with a 30-bore pistol, shooting him in his stomach. The suspect was later arrested by the police and identified as Muhammad Ashraf, a resident of Mansehra. Police said they were interrogating the suspect while the injured cop remains under the care of doctors at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims).
