LAHORE:
The Federal Investigation Agency arrested two Chinese nationals travelling on counterfeit passports on Friday.

The arrested suspects were identified as Zhao Zhikang and Chen Jiandong and were attempting to travel for Toronto via PIA flight number PK-797 with fake Canadian visas.

Zhao arrived at Allama Iqbal International Airport on January 23 on a valid Pakistan visa whereas Chen arrived at the Lahore airport on January 16.

In a separate incident, a 45-year-old Chinese national was found dead in the restroom of a plastic factory in Sundar on Friday. Police said the man named Yuan had gone to the bathroom at his workplace but did not return.

Another employee found the body and called the police, which shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. Experts of Punjab Forensic Science Agency and Crime Scene Unit have collected evidence from the scene. The Sundar SHO said Yuan lived at the residence provided by his employers and ‘circumstantial evidence’ suggested he died of natural causes.
