MULTAN: The Punjab government has notified professional allowance of Rs4,000 for the staff and head nurses with effect from January 1, which will be raised to Rs 9,000 from the next fiscal year.

Nurses working in different public sector hospitals in specialised healthcare and medical education department across the province would get the allowance, stated a notification.
