Hundreds of thousands of women took to the streets to participate in the Women's March, a peaceful, stunning rebuke against new US president Donald Trump. Over 600 marches were held worldwide and more than two million people flooded the streets of US cities.

Muslim women were asked to send in their photographs and here we look at some of the most powerful images of women marching for their rights.
